Financial Protection in Sickness and Health

Even the best plans can go wrong if you don’t prepare for the unexpected. This can happen if you think that certain risks are not likely to hurt you or your family. You might also be too busy. Because of this, our financial plans include a strategy for managing risks to protect you, your family, and your money.

Complimentary Life Insurance for
OTNZ-WNA Members

Life happens. And when one of our members gets seriously sick or passes away, the effects on the family and friends can be devastating. The bills don’t stop, medical fees and bereavement costs can really add up.

What does it cover?
Each member is covered for $50,000 Life Cover/Terminal Illness cover, and every child of a member is covered with $5,000 Kids Trauma Cover.

Death Benefit
Your family or nominated beneficiaries will receive a lump sum of money if you pass away.

Terminal Illness
If you are given less than 12 months to live, even with available treatment, your Life Cover will be paid to you. This is so that you can use the money for your immediate care and help to plan a secure future for your family.

Funeral Advancement
You will receive an advance payment of $15,000 from your Life Cover when a life insurance claim is accepted. This pays for immediate expenses such as a funeral.

Kids Cover
If your child/children become sick or need a major surgical procedure that is on the list of conditions/ surgeries covered by Kids Cover, you will receive automatic coverage for a $5,000 lump sum payout for each of your children who qualify. This can help pay for recovery-related expenses and makes it easier for you to take time off to look after them.

Willi Olsen

Insurance Strategist: Securing People's Incomes

Willi has worked in the insurance industry since 2004, accumulating a wealth of knowledge, broadly across all aspects of insurance and financial protection and as a business owner. The New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) backs up this practical experience.

Willi has served as a trusted financial advisor to families and businesses since 2004. First in Scandinavia and, since 2017, in New Zealand. He holds a dual Danish-New Zealand citizenship.

One of the best decisions I made was getting married in 1999. We started a life together, and our first child was born in 2001.

While pregnant with our second child, my wife suffered a rare neurological condition. At the same time, I started working in life insurance and understood the need for financial protection.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have financial protection in place, and this is why I do what I do, so you don’t have to suffer as we did.

Three steps to see what's possible

Matters of family and wealth are always deeply personal. The same goes for how we work with you. From our first meeting to the reviews we do regularly, every touch feels human, even when discussing numbers, financial protection and retirement. We don’t beat around the bush when we talk to you; our goal is to make life easier with one plan.

Step 1. Discover

We seek to understand where you are at and where you want to go.

Step 2. Design

Together, we explore insurance options that might fit you and your budget.

Step 3. Deliver

Once a financial protection plan is chosen, we'll activate the plan and schedule annual follow ups to make sure the plan stays on track.
